Trigger Job How To
Gentlemen,
I am needing some advice. I bought a Taurus M380 Ultralite in 380acp. Its based on the Taurus model 85. The trigger pull is horrendous and it maxes out my buddies trigger pull gauge. My wife has MS and cannot pull the trigger with this much weight. I looked online and saw they make a spring replacement kit from Wolff gunsprings. I would change out the hammer spring and the trigger return springs. I am a little mechanically inclined and have watched numerous videos for this type of swap. I feel i would be able to accomplish this with the correct tools. The question I have is should I take it further and polish the internals or leave that for the professionals? I am a patient person and willing to take my time and do this job myself, but would that polishing be more than my skills can handle. I am no way a gunsmith nor claim to be. I am looking for your opinions.
Thanks in advance
Shayne

Taurus 85 Action Job
Oct 06, 2014 Guess I got lucky. I have a Taurus 4″ M44 44 mag. When I picked it up, I asked my FFL who is also my gunsmith, if he did a trigger job on it. It was very smooth DA. I bought 5 boxes of factory ammo. Remington, Winchester, and Hornady in bullet weights of 180-240 gr. Jutoh 2 48 download free. I shot them at 25 yds. As owner of your new Taurus® firearm, you are responsible for (1) keeping your finger off the trigger, (2) pointing the muzzle in a safe direction, (3) opening the cylinder by pressing the thumb piece and completely swinging out the cylinder (4) looking and feeling each chamber to confirm the revolver is empty. Gif to video. FIREARMS SAFETY SYSTEMS. Taurus guns have parts that simply do not fit as tightly – as precisely – as some other manufacturers. Yes, you can do a shadetree action job, maybe swap springs, and improve the action – but it will never be truly ‘great’ without rebuilding the gun. I’ve purchased more than a few Taurus.
